Come empower yourself by learning a new craft right here in Shekou.  Classes in knitting, jewelry making, general crafts such as ornaments, and parents and kids classes are offered.  We are currently looking for craft teachers from around the world.  If you are interested in teaching, want to sign up for, or have questions about classes, email candieATcandiecooper(DOT)com.

KNITTING:  --Beginning Knitting is Full. 

                    --Knitter's Workshop-if you need a little help with your project, this is for you.

                    --If you already know how to knit there is a knitters circle you can join.

 

WHAT'S ON AT THE BIRDCAGE STUDIO:

December 8th Second Saturday-Picture Perfect!  Come with your child to decorate wood picture frames with paint, paper, and buttons!   Everyone takes home a finished frame!  Choose your frame color at sign-up:  Red, Lt. Blue, Aqua, Lime, or Lt. Pink.  Don't forget to bring a picture! 9-10:30am 250RMB per pair-115RMB each additional child Dec. 4th
December 9th SWIC's Meet Santa @ Gypsy's-Snacks, presents, balloons, AND MAKE A SHANGHAI SNOWMAN ORNAMENT!!! sign up to Kanya or Meribeth 70 RMB/child  for members and 100 RMB for non  
December 12th Bead Merry and Bright!  Come to create two beaded ornaments while nibbling sugar cookies, sipping cocoa, and listening to Christmas music.  And everyone leaves with a surprise free gift! 9-1pm 300RMB Nov. 28th
